The series of intelligent power supplies selectors SELBLU87 was designed to allow for redundancy at the time to power devices in HFC 90VAC networks. Two stand-by or ferroresonat power supplies can be connected to the selector SELBLU87 inputs, so the selector will provide 1+1 redundancy to the loads. In case that the power supply connected to the main input shuts down, the selector will automatically transfer to the other power supply, ensuring an uninterrupted power to the load.
It is a low cost solution and an easy way to improve the network powering when it is fed from very unestable AC lines.
